Hello Ladies!
My bad for not doing this sooner, but better late than never, right? I am happy to tell you that there were almost 400 of us that gathered at The Creek on August 1st and 2nd to hear the Word! Isn't that awesome?! According to Beth, there were over 70,000 of us gathered in over 700 locations, so if my math is correct and we look at the average.... that would make us one of the largest groups! Very fun! Thanks again to all of you who came and my prayer is that each of us will hide the Word that was sown and persevere until we see that hundred-fold harvest! Bring it on, Lord! Bring it on!!
I'm also very excited to tell you that we raised over $6,000 for Shepherd Community Center! Woo-Hoo!! Thanks to all of you who so willingly gave. What a huge blessing to Shepherd!
I had every intention of attaching some pictures from the weekend but much to my dismay, ALL my pictures turned out blurry (big fat bummer!) and I can't even figure out how to attach them anyway. That's on my list of things I need to learn. In the meantime, I would love to hear some of your simulcast stories! I have heard some good ones and can't wait to hear more!
God Bless,
Paulette :-)

While working at the kiosk one Sunday selling Simulcast tickets, one gal came up to say that she had purchased a ticket but wasn't going to be able to come. She didn't want a refund but didn't know anyone to give her ticket to and wanted to know if I did. Another gal had approached the kiosk just in time to hear the other gal's story and she gladly stated "I'll take it!" Then she explained that she had just prayed and told God how badly she wanted to attend but wasn't able to purchase her own ticket and she walked to the kiosk believing Him to provide a way. What a God moment! So glad I was there to see it. :-)
ReplyDeleteWow!!! What a HUGE blessing the simulcast was (for me and so many others.) I made a few weak attempts to see how difficult it would be to organize an event like this. I had no idea other women had the same thoughts. Just watch God put a handful of determined women together and see how He is unstoppable. For me personally, I think I was that seed sown in rocks. My roots just aren't as deep as they should be. Every study I do, and every day I open my bible, my faith is nurtured and I have a clearer understanding of God's will for my life and His unending/never failing love for me. I have made some great friends and I am sooo excited to be a part of this new women's group. Ignite will fill the gap left open way too long for so many women. Thank you to all who were instrumental in putting together the simulcast. You know who you are and your efforts are much appreciated! Love to you all!!
ReplyDeleteA lady from my office who attended the Beth Moore Simulcast has talked about it often. She was even able to witness to her son on Saturday after the event and she said she would have never had the courage to say what she said if she hadn't been at the simulcast. He was open to listening to the Word for the 1st time from her (he's in his 20's) - He and his wife were on the verge of splitting up and they have since worked things out............. Praise the Lord! God is so Good! Blessings for a great day!
